Park Avenue Christian Church

Pastor John Claussen has been doing ministry for nearly 25 years.  He received his Bachelors Degree from Central College in Pella, IA, where he first heard the call to the ministry.  John graduated with his Masters Degree from Dubuque Theological Seminary in 1985 and has served churches in Iowa and in California.  Pastor John’s ministry goals can be summed up in this phrase: “Give God Glory, Bring People to Jesus”.  His unique, fun sermons bring both laughter and encouragement to the congregation.  In his spare time John spends time with his wife, Cindy, his children, Jennie, Gabe, Michael, and Sam, and his 6 grandchildren.
